ASTHMA IN CHILDREN Is there a cure?

According to The Chinese University of Hong Kong, there are approximately 120,000 children in Hong Kong with varying levels of asthma.*

This number has more than doubled in the last 20 years.

Standard treatment for asthma is inhaled corticosteroids, which, whilst certainly life-saving and providing relief from actue asthmatic attacks, don't really cure the illness.

In my practice at The Round Clinic I see many children, the majority of them suffer from asthma and allergies for various degrees. I have found homeopathic treatment to be very successful in treating asthma and/or allergies with lasting and permanent results.

Here is one of many asthma cases that was successfully treated with homeopathy:

On 29th f June 2016 a mother brought her little boy aged five for a consultation.

He had been diagnosed with asthma at the age of 4 months and had suffered recurring respiratory infections ever since, coughing almost every day.

He needed to receive inhalations of corticosteroids and antibiotics almost every month. His condition continued to get worse to the point where mother thought there was no hope, until she started to hear of other children with the same condition who were successfully treated with homeopathic medicine and no longer on inhalers. In desperation, she made her appointment at our clinic.

After I conducted a full and detailed assessment of the little boy, I prescribed a homeopathic remedy called Lycopodium.

The boy was to take this medicine daily for 20 days. I told the mother if her son needs to take the inhaled corticosteroids that it is perfectly ok to take together with homeopathic medicine. To the mother’s surprise after the 12th day of taking the homeopathic medicine her little boy stopped coughing and till this day his coughed has not returned. She also found that he no longer was wheezing or had shortness of breath when he ran around the playground.

It has been over a year now and the boy has not had the need to take any more inhalers. The mother says he rarely gets sick and is now playing sports. The mother and her husband are very happy and now bring all of their children for treatment for a variety of health issues.

Although we treat many asthma cases, we always advise that in the case of severe symptoms or illness a child should be taken to their doctor or hospital. Asthma is a serious health condition that needs careful monitoring and treatment.
